Royal Security Solutions Ltd was awarded a contract to secure the “Rock on the Beach Music Festival” event that took place over the Bank Holiday weekend. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) organized the festival in Phuket as part of the Thailand Festival Experience project. The event featured beachfront concerts by well-known artists, along with various other activities, such as a flyboard show, kite displays, local dance performances, and DIY activities. Local food and products from community enterprises in Phuket and Krabi were sold.
The festival attracted around 2,500 Thai and foreign tourists each day, with a total of at least 15,000 tourists across the entire event. The TAT cooperated with local tourism operators in Phuket and Krabi to ensure the safety and security of the event, which was held under the Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration (SHA) public health and sanitation measures as a COVID-Free Event.
The festival featured beachfront concerts by well-known artists, such as Vi Violet, Ink Waranthon, and The Parkinson band, as well as a special highlight of a flyboard show and various kite displays.
The venue also showcased local dance performances, such as ‘Baba Nyonya’ or Peranakan dance, Tari Kipas dance, contemporary puppet shows, and contemporary Nora dance, as well as DIY activities like local batik souvenir painting. Local food and products from community enterprises in Phuket were on sale, and festival-goers had the chance to taste famous dishes from both destinations. Royal Security Solutions Ltd ensured that the event was safe and secure, allowing the festival-goers to enjoy the activities and performances without any incidents.
